Governance
General Board
WAYDO's highest decision-making body: 35 young women members, each with a vote. The General Board elects the Executive Panel and forms the advisory, management and any special committees. Its decisions are binding.
Executive Panel
Nine members elected by the General Board in a democratic vote: President, Vice-President, Secretary General, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Organising Secretary, Office Secretary and two Executive Members. It governs under WAYDO's registered constitution and the oversight of the Department of Youth Development.
Management
A Chief Executive and directors for programmes, finance, safeguarding, medical and psychosocial services, and fundraising run day-to-day work and report to the Executive Panel.
Policies
These policies apply to everyone who works or volunteers for WAYDO. Copies are available on request.
